Speaking words of faith—or speaking affirmations—is a POWERFUL part of keeping our faith strong, stable, and focused. Faith cannot be silent or still. Belief may be still for a short time while it is planted, but faith is the action that reflects our belief. It is through actions of faith, based upon what we believe, that we see miracles. In this message I will be sharing 3 powerful promises for healing from God’s Word.

Miracle producing belief requires agreement with God and His will. And I should add, it also requires “the risk of stepping out in faith.” Faith is the action we take—in spite of doubt or fear—based upon what we believe. If you have nothing to lose, you don’t need faith. Think of all the stories in the Bible: David facing Goliath, Mary being told she would bear a Son, and countless more. Belief and faith are two-sides of the same coin. Both are always required for an answer to prayer.

If you need something from the Lord, it is your responsibility to pray and diligently search God’s Word for direction. If you truly believe God wants you well, then you must take some type of action to according to your belief and the truths He has revealed. The action of speaking words, in line with your belief, is faith. Speaking out loud, will reinforce what you believe in your heart. Your mouth speaking God’s promise, and your ears hearing God’s will for you. You can do this best with affirmations based on God’s promises.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

It’s important to understand that affirmations, or proclamations of faith, don’t change God—because God never changes. It is always His will for you to be healed. But affirmations DO change you.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Continuously speaking words of faith helps you stay in agreement with God. If you haven’t done this before, fasten your seatbelt! It’s a principle of faith that releases Heaven’s power on Earth. And the Bible tells us “as a man thinks in his HEART…so is he” (Proverbs 23:7).

Let’s review 3 powerful promises from God’s Word that relate to healing, provision, or any obstacle you are facing. Reading them out loud so you can hear them, will grow your faith.

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18).

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:22–23, emphasis mine). What is the mountain (obstacle) in your life right now?

“But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror; For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like (James 1:22–24 AMP, emphasis mine).

Speak what you believe in your heart and give God’s Word authority in your life through what you choose to proclaim. Choose to line yourself up with life and health and long life. God tells us that it is our choice—yes, yours and mind. We choose what to believe, what to speak, and what belief we will take action upon.

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days;” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).

Prayer:
Father, You raised the dead and healed the blind man, Is there anything too hard for You? Nothing! Help me to be a doer of Your Word today! And help me take action in my faith according to what I believe in my heart. Thank you, Father.

With God, nothing is impossible!

God bless you,
